Blanche Marie Lewis has been involved in vocal ensembles since she was old enough to stand on her own two feet! Her 1st solo was in the 2nd grade choir at Salem United Methodist Church in Havana, Florida. She continued singing in church and school choirs throughout school, after graduation, and on throughout her adult life - even singing on "the Tree" at Epcot's Candlelight Processional as part of the Cast Choir at Walt Disney World.
Blanche Marie has directed children's choirs throughout the years in both church and educational settings for all age levels from preschoolers through senior adults.
Mark Lewis has been involved in choirs for as long as he can remember. He performed in the various children's, youth, and adult choirs at First United Methodist Church of Winter Park throughout his life. In undergrad, he participated in university choirs off and on and then taught choir as part of his responsibilities at LaBelle High School. Currently, he directs the Chancel Choir at Ascension Lutheran Church in Casselberry, FL, and creates vocal arrangements for choirs. Videos of these arrangements can be found on his YouTube channel, MusicalMark1898, and the sheet music can be purchased here on Making Joyful Music.
