Blanche Marie Lewis
Blanche Marie is a professional musician in the Central Florida area who is happiest when involved in making music - as a soloist, director, educator, clinician, part of an ensemble, or as an arranger. The list goes on!
After completing a Bachelor of Music degree in Flute performance from Florida Southern College, her education continued at Florida State University with a Master's degree in Music Therapy.
As a professional musician, Blanche Marie has performed on flute and handbells as a soloist and in ensembles for featured concerts, worship services and pit orchestras. She provides music for weddings and special events on a regular basis.
Blanche Marie has directed adult and children's vocal and instrumental ensembles in churches throughout the state of Florida - John Wesley United Methodist Church, Tallahassee; First United Methodist Church, Winter Park; Markham Woods Presbyterian Church, Lake Mary; Trinity United Methodist Church, Orlando; First Presbyterian Church, Orlando; and Ascension Lutheran Church, Casselberry. She has also taught music classes and private lessons through Ruediger Elementary School, Tallahassee; Southwestern State Hospital, Thomasville, GA; Maitland Christian School, Maitland; Rollins College Community School of Music, Winter Park; Central Florida Music Studio, Winter Park; Trinity Christian Academy, Orlando; and Holy Cross Lutheran Academy, Sanford.
Blanche Marie currently resides in Winter Park, Florida, with her husband Robby, and sons, Mark and Lance. They are active in their church, First United Methodist Church of Winter Park. In her free time, Blanche Marie enjoys camping, reading and cooking.
